Transition from cracked logic to official version

A few years ago I bought a mac mini that 'came with' Logic Pro X. I had no idea about the apple ID registration rules and assumed this was a legit version, but obviously it isnt. I use it everyday but recently it is very glitchy (since I cant update it) so I'm going to actually buy it. How will this work? Can I just delete the cracked application and download the official version, will I be able to open and edit all of my current songs/ projects in the new version? Thanks in advance.
