We are in the process of purchasing an iseries (AS/400) to use as the
backup machine for the existing iseries.
Until the time we implement a total DR solution such as 'Mimix for SAP
R/3 ' or 'Vision' we need to do a full restoration
from a Entire system system b/up taken from the live production system.
In that case we need to clarify followings;

(1) After the full restoration will the system simply come up
without any license issue ?(configuration of the DR machine
(memory/disk space and CPU ) will be the same as production box)

(2) Is there any procedure to apply hardware license keys before
starting SAP ? If yes, Kindly send me the procedures, or SAP
notes ( note : - we are using I5OS (V5R3M0) )

(3) Are there any special procedures to be carried out when restoring
on the new iseries ? also send us some Documentation
or SAP notes regarding above itmes.
