Dave And Busters Party Packages Prices

Posted on  by admin

I hosted my husband's 30th birthday party at Dave & Buster's. It exceeded my expectations! I wanted to share my experience so hopefully others will consider having a party there. Great way for adults to feel like kids again by having an old school “Chuck E. Cheese” type birthday party but much nicer and this time being old enough to drink!
Reservation Process
Booking the party was very easy. I was able to review the package options on the website and then email someone to make the reservation. I was contacted within a day (maybe even same day) by an event planner, who I continued to have as my direct contact right up until the night of the party. We chose the $24.99 per person package, which included a great buffet of bar foods and $10 per person in game tokens. The package also included a t-shirt for the birthday person, which I ended up using as the guest book. I told my event planner in advance so she had permanent markers set up near the shirt for people to sign when they arrived. You have to pay a 50% deposit at the time of booking. Room rental fee was $50 and that gave us the room for 3 hours (you can book longer for additional fee).
The Party
Upon arrival I was greeted by my own personal party host for the evening. He was great – he showed us to the room which was HUGE! The buffet was already set up. Tables were set up nicely. There were glasses of water on the table for each guest and we had a dedicated server who took drink orders for us all night (I asked they charge my guests directly for drinks so people were able to open a tab with her or pay cash or pay credit card as they ordered). The buffet included a salad bar, nacho bar, pizza bites (they even wrote “Happy 30th Peter” in pesto sauce on the pizza bites!), cheeseburger sliders and chicken fingers. The food was delicious and plentiful!! People ate seconds and sometimes thirds and we still had food leftover! The buffet was great because people could come and go as they please. Some would eat food, go play some games, come back for more food. We brought our own cake and candles and the server was great about dimming the lights for us, making sure we had dessert plates and silverware and fresh waters. The party host would pop in and out to make sure we were having a good time and see if we needed anything.
Updated Look & Feel at D&B
D&B recently re-did their entire facility. The new look is great!! It is much more open – the room to the left that had all the pool tables has been opened up and turned into dinner seating. There was also an activity of some sort going on there later in the night (trivia maybe) that people seemed to be enjoying. The main bar when you first walk in use to have some kind of covering over it but not it’s all open and has tons of TVs to give it that nice sports bar feel. The prize store has even been opened up and laid out much roomier which makes it easier to avoid run-ins with others. My only complaint is the booth in the middle that you use to be able to go see an employee to recharge your cards or combine old ones is no longer staffed by an employee. It looks like it’s self-serve with the external kiosks only. You have to go all the way to the front desk at the entrance if you want an employee.
Overall it was a great night and the organization and value of the party exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend considering D&B for your next party – I know we’ll have one again some day!

If you are looking for a fun place for a Birthday Party go to Dave and Buster's, but with high prices this place works only if you are a small group. The staff are slow if you are in need of assistance, and the Bar area is big but again slow service, sat down an waited over ten minute for someone to come over and ask if I needed a drink.. The kids had fun but ran out of money on their cards very fast, again high price games. Don't even get me started with the coupons the games give out after you have played, and then going into the gift room and looking at the prizes that you are can redeem your coupon for. The selection is horrible five and dime stuff.
